Perseverence

I’ve needed a lot of perseverance this week; I finished the beautiful colour work yoke of my Gaudi sweater by Julie Knits in Paris and now it’s round after round of plain stocking stitch…groan! However, it’s not all bad as I’m using John Arbon Knit By Numbers which is gorgeous stuff, but I have decided to knit the body longer than the pattern suggests due to having a shape that is not flattered by a cropped style i.e. I have a wide posterior.

With Easter round the corner I’ve been working on some cute crocheted progress keepers. I think I’ve got the bunnies just how I want them and am nearly there with the chicks.

These bunnies will brighten up any project.

I seem to have a thing for bunnies right now!

It’s been a productive week for notions. I have received an order of beautiful enamelled charms and gemstones which are waiting to be transformed into gorgeous stitch markers and progress keepers just for you. I really enjoy choosing the perfect complementary findings and beads to use with the focal charm or bead. It’s very satisfying.

I hope you are all looking forward to the Easter break and that you’ll have a lovely peaceful weekend. If you have to work…that sucks! Bye for now!Enjoy your crafting everyone.
